Doggy Day Care at Coastal Veterinary Hospital & Pet Resort

Daycare facilities are open Monday thru Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 7:30 am to 1:00pm!

For safety, each dog is individually assessed before being allowed to play in our general play group. Our dogs are allowed access to the play yard all day long and are encouraged to interact with other dogs and our camp counselors during their stay.

Our facilities include separate indoor/outdoor areas for both large and small breeds, sand boxes for digging, wading pools, a variety of agility equipment, and a great selection of dog-tested, dog-tuff toys for their continuous enjoyment. 

Grooming

Bath/Nail trims are done by our grooming department.

We take great pride in maintaining a clean and comfortable facility for your pet.

Our spacious, temperature-controlled boarding area ensures your pet stays comfortable, while our friendly and caring staff provides plenty of attention and care throughout their stay.

Should any medical problems arise during your pet’s stay, you can have peace of mind that our veterinarians will make sure they are treated appropriately.

Luxury Dog Boarding

Resort rooms include "The Islands," "Bayside," "Reef" and "Ocean" for dogs. Our senior dogs enjoy the quiet serenity of our "Bali" rooms. Dogs are walked 4 times a day, provided with fresh water at all times, food according to the owner's preference, and given lots of TLC!

Luxury Cat Boarding

Cats lounge in their very own Jungle Room Tree House, located on our quiet second floor, and pampered (as any regal feline should be)! A La Carte services and additional resort packages are also available to enhance your pet's vacation experience.

Dog & Cat Boarding Requirements

All boarding guests must be up-to-date on vaccinations. If your pet requires any vaccinations before staying with us, we are happy to provide the vaccines for an additional fee.

Boarding requirements for dogs include: DAPP, Rabies, Bordetella every 6 months, Lepto vaccine annually, CIV annually after the initial series, and a negative fecal test within the last 6 months.

Boarding requirements for cats include: FVRCP, Rabies and a negative fecal in the last 6 months, or we can apply Profender during their stay. 

Reservations are preferred, especially during holidays, but we can generally accommodate last-minute or emergency boarding needs.

Our boarding facility is open for drop-off and pick-up whenever the office is open.

Why Board Your Pet at a Veterinary Practice?

• Medications are administered by trained veterinary staff.
• In case of an emergency or if your pet needs immediate medical care, our veterinarians and medical team are onsite to respond quickly.
• If your pet requires updated vaccinations before their stay, we can take care of those before your pet's scheduled boarding date. If possible, please allow two weeks between vaccination and boarding.
• We offer veterinary exams or other medical services needed during your pet’s stay.
